Jewish Heritage Fund

Get Started

Thanks for your interest in working with the Jewish Heritage Fund – we’re glad you’re here. If you have a project idea that aligns with our vision of improving the health of the Greater Louisville community, advancing world-class medical research, or fostering a strong, vibrant Jewish community then we’d love to connect. Here’s how to get started:

1. Understand our eligibility requirements.

  • Your organization must be a charitable nonprofit organization with services located within the Commonwealth of Kentucky with tax-exempt classification from the Internal Revenue Service.
  • Generally, JHF does not support individuals, fundraising events, political campaigns, or lobbying efforts.
  • Grounded in the legacy of the founders of Jewish Hospital, the Jewish Heritage Fund is dedicated to promoting inclusivity through the Jewish values of tzedakah (charity and righteousness) and tikkun olam (repairing the world). We are committed to ensuring that the grants and organizations we support share similar values of building a more inclusive and equitable community. Grant recipients must not promote hate or antisemitism. Additionally, grant recipients agree not to discriminate based on race, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, socioeconomic status, education, veteran, or disability status.
