Jewish Life
Through Jewish Life funding, JHF strives to foster diverse, thriving Jewish communities in Kentucky, where members feel safe, supported, and empowered to connect with their Jewish identity in meaningful ways.
JHF has identified the following funding priorities to advance our vision:
- Innovative, relevant, and targeted opportunities for individuals to enter and stay connected to Jewish life.
- Opportunities to support the health, safety, and wellbeing of Jewish individuals.
- Efforts to build goodwill for and acceptance of the Jewish community and people.
- Capacity building efforts to empower individuals and strengthen organizations to meet community needs.
- Educational opportunities to help individuals develop a deep Jewish identity and establish a fundamental knowledge of the tenets of Judaism, and Jewish values, rituals, and history.
Funding Application Process
Applications for funding are by invitation only. The first step in the process is a conversation with JHF Program Director Jaime Jorrisch. Potential applicants may be asked to submit a brief written project description and project budget. Invitations to apply will be based on several factors, including alignment with JHF’s goals and the availability of funding. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
