JHF wishes to foster a robust and dynamic Jewish community by funding opportunities for Jewish individuals and their families to engage in Jewish life, and to flourish within the larger community.
Through Jewish Life funding, we seek to support initiatives that align to one or more of our focus areas:
- Spiritual, cultural, and social programs to grow individuals’ Jewish identity and sense of belonging and connection to the Jewish community.
- Programs and initiatives that strengthen Jewish organizations.
- Programs in the broader community that celebrate and build awareness of Jewish culture, heritage, history, and contributions
Funding Application Process
Applications for funding are by invitation only. The first step in the process is a conversation with JHF Program Officer Jaime Jorrisch. Potential applicants may be asked to submit a brief written project description and project budget. Invitations to apply will be based on a number of factors, including alignment with JHF’s goals and available funding. Applications will be accepted March 1-18, 2022, and funding decisions will be announced in May or July. To view a read-only version of the 2022 Jewish Life application, click here.
