Grants Information

With financial assets exceeding $250 million, the Jewish Heritage Fund for Excellence (JHFE) is committed to improved health and fostering a vibrant Jewish community in metropolitan Louisville and the Commonwealth of Kentucky through its three grant making programs: Medical/Health Grants, Community Health Grants, and Jewish Community Excellence Grants.

Funding Priorities

In order to further its mission of improved health and fostering a strong, vibrant Jewish community, the Jewish Heritage Fund for Excellence has identified the following strategic funding priorities:

Medical/Health: medical research, medical education, health outcomes, healthcare policy
Jewish Community: Jewish identity & community, creating sustainability within the Jewish community, Jewish education, senior Jewish adult services

Applicants will be asked to identify how their project will contribute to one or more of JHFE’s priorities. All approved grants will be subject to progress/financial reporting.
